Company Description

Come experience the thrill and beauty of Flightlinez Bootleg Canyon! Soar over the Mojave desert down four separate ziplines. Enjoy breathtaking views of Las Vegas, Boulder City, Lake Mead and the Eldorado Valley. Tours run daily from 8 am - 5 pm.

The Flightlinez Experience

When arriving in Boulder City from Las Vegas, you will see a mountain range red in color on the left hand side. Those are the Red Mountains of the Mojave Desert that you will be Flightlining down.

Our office is located at the mountain base on Industrial Road. When you arrive at the office you will be asked to fill out our waiver. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a waiver filled out by a guardian. We are able to provide the waiver in advance. *Please note - the waiver must be dated for the day of the tour.

Approximately 15-30 minutes prior to your tour start time; we begin to escort guests from the office into the Flight School area. Here, the guides will provide you with orientation, a harness, and demonstration of Flightlinez safety procedures. The harness is equipped with a full back panel including a zipper pocket for a small camera or personally required essentials. The harness is built for safety and comfort including supportive, padded leg straps.

Once you have completed Flight School, we begin a 15-minute scenic bus ride up Red Mountain. You will enjoy sights of mountain bikers, a view over looking the Las Vegas Strip and, if lucky enough, some desert wild life. Once you have reached the limits of our tour bus, a moderate hike will begin. The guides are available to assist with guest equipment during your journey to the Summit of Red Mountain. During the hike, guests are more than welcome to stop as often as necessary to rest, or "take pictures". Once at the Summit of Red Mountain {3800 ft. above sea level} you will see breathtaking views of Las Vegas Valley, Lake Mead and the Eldorado Valley.

The First Run has the biggest drop of the four Flightlinez on the tour. You will plunge 450 ft in the first 15 seconds; you will not, however, feel the weightlessness associated with roller coasters. Each of the four runs includes 4 parallel lines, which allows up to four guests to fly next to each other at a time.

Once all guests in your tour group have completed the First Run you will continue on to the next take off platform. Each Run’s take off platform provides a unique view of the mountainous terrain from a different elevation. These different viewing perspectives truly showcase the variety and beauty of the desert, which ever so briefly, separates you from the lights and noise of the Las Vegas Strip.

The Second Run provides a beautiful view of Lake Mead while soaring 1864 feet across the desert valley below.

The Third Run is just shy of a stimulating half mile in length, allowing plenty of time in flight to absorb the beauty around you. You may recall "The Great American Roadtrip" on NBC filming their paint balloon challenge using this run.

The Fourth Run is our shortest and some say the most exciting run at just over 1100 feet in length. With this run the tour concludes near the welcome area for Bootleg Canyon Park. Here you will also find Bathrooms and running water.

The Flightlinez bus will pick up the tour group and shuttle everyone back to the office where the tour began. Once back at the shop you will have the option to fill out comment/gratuity cards, purchase retail, and purchase pictures (Please request this upon booking to insure a photographer will be available).
