Company Description
Creating the perfect event is our passion. It’s always innovative, always personal, and always a performance. The excitement of seeing that everything flows smoothly and comes together perfectly – the food, the drinks, the service, the setting, the entertainment – that’s what makes this specialty so much fun. And what better place to specialize in hospitality of this caliber but in Maine?
Located in Portland, Churchill Events has experience with every style of social event – weddings, anniversaries, graduations, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, picnics, lobster bakes, and barbeques. We’ve showcased corporate events, boardroom luncheons, cocktail receptions, and private dinner meetings.
We do stand-up cocktail parties, intimate dinner parties, post-reception brunch, and destination weddings – a specialty that can include the rehearsal dinner, the wedding reception, and post-nuptials brunch along with assistance with any of the various planning elements: transportation, entertainment, lighting, décor, menus, and more. Services
From start to finish, we’ll assist you in the planning and presentation of any aspect of your event — ordering invitations, arranging for flowers and special décor, providing transportation, finding the perfect location, the entertainment, and of course, a spectacular menu. Leave everything to us.
- Event planning and wedding consulting - We will make sure your event is everything you’ve imagined and more, all while working within your defined budget. We’ll work with you to select the right professionals to carry out your vision, and we won’t be satisfied until you’re satisfied. Let us help you budget, negotiate, sub-contract and handle all site and equipment rentals – everything you need (including our own Justice of the Peace) to make your event perfect.
- Catering - We’ll work together with you to custom create the appropriate menu for you and your guests selecting seasonal, ethnic, and regional foods to suit your tastes and preferences. We pride ourselves on staying current, and use local and organic foods when at all possible. We also offer a variety of heart healthy foods for those seeking a lighter, healthier menu alternative. And we’ll do it all with style – we work hard to prepare and present our food – your dinner will be both delectable and visually breathtaking.
- Full service “off-premise” food and beverage service — Where would you like to eat? Whatever you decide, our complete dining and beverage service comes to you. Let us help you explore the realm of location possibilities, too.
- Entertainment - Whether you'd like a jazz quartet or a string quartet, a clown, magician, or a DJ, we can help you make the best selection and book the talent for your event.
- Complete party rentals - From tents and linens to photographers and audio-visual experts, we'll help you select and rent everything you need.
- Décor - Professional floral arrangements and other décor reflecting the event and season can be provided to set a dramatic atmosphere for your event.
- Transportation - Travel arrangements and hotel accommodations for you and your guests, as well as transportation to and from your event? Just say the word.
