Company Description
Bastrop Sound Sanctuary is a beautiful historic church building that is now available for hosting many types of events and gatherings. We include chairs, tables, and other common supplies with your booking so you can save time and money when planning and setting up your event. You can rent a room or the whole property for an hour or even for the whole weekend.
Sanctuary Only - Hourly Package
This includes the main sanctuary and foyer for an event that doesn't serve food. $70 per hour; one-hour minimum. $150 refundable deposit. We include one hour on either end of your scheduled time, so setting up and cleaning up doesn't eat into your event time. Includes 140 chairs, 18 music stands, the grand piano; two additional hours: one for set up and one for clean up. The foyer has two restrooms.
Sanctuary and Social Hall - Hourly Package
This is a great option if your event will be serving food. This package includes the main sanctuary and the social hall: a separate building that has a full kitchen and two nice-sized rooms that are perfect for setting up tables to eat and serve food. $300 for the first 3 hours; $100 each additional hour; 3-hour minimum. $300 refundable cleaning/key deposit. Includes everything with the above package plus matching white dishware for 24 people; you'll also get an additional hour for set up and an extra hour for cleanup.
Sanctuary and Social Hall - Daily/Overnight Package
If you need the venue for 12 hours or more, or have guests staying overnight, this is the perfect package for your event. This package includes the main sanctuary, 4 additional rooms in the main structure, and the social hall: a separate building that has a full kitchen and two nice-sized rooms. There are 4 bathrooms and 2 showers. $1,200 for 24 hours; $1,800 for 48 hours; $500 refundable cleaning/key deposit. Includes everything with the above package plus cots/beds to sleep up to 20 people. There are limited linens and pillows available. Please let us know should you have questions. We also have weekly rates available for summer camps or workshops.
Individual Rooms
These rooms would be great for private music lessons, individual or group therapy, small group meetings of any kind. There are 6 rooms of varying size ranging from $5-$15 per hour; please call or email to enquire!
