Relax and enjoy an Hour, Half-Day, or Full-Day Llama Trek without all the burdens of those heavy backpacks!
We hike various, easy-to-moderate trails in pristine forests of the Smoky Mountains and in beautiful Pisgah National Forest. Some are private lands and others are public, but all provide a memorable adventure.
Our goals here at Smoky Mountain Llama Treks are to get people back out into nature, and let nature do the rest!
Lie hidden among the soft grasses of flowered fields, gaze at peaceful llamas nibbling on wildflowers, photograph the distant mountain vistas, skip barefoot in the babbling, crisp creeks, hover over high elevation rock cliffs, or discover a patch of wild blackberries!
Each season holds unique, wondrous sights...
Our quiet, wondrous winters are aglow with glistening snow that give new meaning to the word "awesome". In Spring, the mountainsides are ablaze in natural wildflowers and flowering trees. Warm summer days are blessed with meandering deer, wild turkeys, and frolicking chipmunks.
Autumn is just spectacular with spotlights of colors that make you feel as if you were inside a calender photo! The cool, crisp air makes this the most refreshing time to llama hike!
