Catering Options at the Detroit Opera House

The Detroit Opera House can handle all of your food and beverage service needs. In addition to The Detroit Opera Houses Cadillac Café catering services we have additional caterers that we encourage you to use for food service. Patrons can hire and pay their caterers directly. Should you decide to use an outside caterer there will be a 10% fee of the gross bill paid and due to the Detroit Opera House. These outside caterers may also assist with any special linen or floral arrangement needs.

Table Wine Service

We look forward to providing you and your event planning staff with a wine tasting with our Wine Specialist to assist in your selection of wines to be served with dinner. Please remember you will be charged for the entire special order and will not be able to remove any alcohol from the Detroit Opera House after your special event. The wine will be served at the dinner table by the caterer’s wait staff. Our expert will need to be provided with your menu in an effort to make a perfect pairing for your tasting pleasure. Wines to be served with your plated meal are considered a Special Wine order and will be billed as a separate line item.
