Stained glass windows compelled Dan and Mary Ellen Oberender to purchase this 1883 Dallas Center treasure for renovation into a home, but the weight of many memories related to them by previous church members convinced them to do otherwise. What was to have been their private residence has become Candle Lit Way Wedding Chapel, a place of quiet beauty within the confines of their gardens. We will help you arrange your elopement, wedding ceremony, renewal of vows, anniversary or other celebratory occasion. Funeral Services and Visitations are welcome as well. This Iowa wedding chapel is Handicapped Accessible and Non-Denominational.
We provide Candelabras, Pedestals, Piano, CD/Tape Deck, iPod Connection a shoulder to cry on and good advice. We will be happy to locate a MINISTER to suit your needs.
Receptions can be a sit down affair for up to 60 guests. Package includes set up and tear down of table and chairs, linens, compotes, silverware, punch bowl. Chafing dishes, and china are optional with Rehearsal Dinners or Receptions. Garden flowers are available seasonally. Charges are based on the numbers of guests served and the hours the chapel is open to you. Call for preferential rates on evenings and Sundays.
