Company Description
Hello! Welcome to "I Saw A Snake" by Black Rock Reptiles.
Black Rock Reptiles is a reptile breeding and educational company. "I Saw a Snake" is the title of the presentation department of Black Rock Reptiles. This title reminds us of what we hear from many of the children at our events and what we are sure all the children are saying for months after seeing one of our programs.
Our basic program runs for approximately one hour. This includes an introduction of each species we present including information about natural history, diet, habitat, etc. with a chance to get up close and touch each animal. Followed by opportunities to hold the animals for pictures and to talk with the presenters. We use 10-15 animals in each presentation.
Animals are selected the day of the event from our collection of approximately 300 animals, representing 18 species native to Australia, Africa, Asia, North and South America, and islands surrounding these continents. If you see a specific animal on any of our websites or Facebook pages that you would like to have at your event, make your presenter aware at the time of booking.
Our reptile programs are an excellent entertainment option for birthday parties and other child oriented events. We also have the ability to work with you to build a presentation that could be used to assist in the classroom, such as, genetics or conservation, or for scouts and similar organizations when earning patches.
Our goal is to present these often misunderstood animals in a positive, entertaining, and educational atmosphere. We want to spark an interest in animals and teach the next generation to respect and appreciate wildlife as a whole.
