Glacier Jet Safaris - Knik River and Glacier
The Knik River’s ultimate destination is the Knik Glacier. This destination boasts a 3 to 5 mile wide glacier and 200 feet high! View massive floating icebergs and just beyond the glacier amazing snow capped mountains. Look for sheep on the steep mountain sides and listen to the ice fracture from across the lake. This trip is a scenic 4 hours including transportation time from Anchorage.
Glacier Jet Safaris - Girdwood -20 mile Glacier or Carmen Lake
The Twentymile River’s ultimate destination the alpine Carmen Lake features hanging glaciers, waterfalls, lush green wooded slopes, and a tint of glacial blue color. Next hang on as we navigate our way up to the Twentymile Glacier* for some awesome photos of the blue glacier and floating icebergs. *(depending on water levels.) This trip is a thrilling 1½ hours to 3 hours including transportation time from the Alyeska in Girdwood.
Glacier Dog Mushing Adventure
Glacier Dog Mushing Experience dog mushing as it was meant to be, on a glacier in snow! This 2 hour trip will start with a very scenic helicopter ride up to the base camp where you will start the dog mushing portion of your adventure. After mushing the dogs across the ice field, return to your helicopter for your flight back to Girdwood.
Flightseeing Adventures
Flightseeing Heighten your Alaskan Experience with a spectacular flightseeing tour. View glaciers, mountain peaks and search for wildlife during this scenic tour of the Chugach Mountains. Flights range from 35 minutes to 2 ½ hours.
