Company Description
Dancers R Us offers a variety of classes including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Modern, Lyrical, Musical Theater and Acrobatics for ages 2-adult. Our college-educated instructors are dedicated to teaching students proper technique, the art of dance, and making sure everyone has fun!
Our mission is to spread the joy of dancing with quality education. We teach our students the technique needed to become successful dancers. We also encourage our students to have fun, be confident, and dance the best of their abilities.
Dancers R Us was founded in 2007 by Janice Johnson, an award winning choreographer and dancer/acrobat. After the passing of her parents, Janice realized that life is too short. She followed her dreams back to dancing and opened Dancers R Us.
As of July, 2012 Heather Liparota has taken ownership of Dancers R Us. She has been an instructor at the studio since they first opened and is proud to take the reins and continue providing quality dance education to students of all ages.
Performances & Events
The 2011-2012 performance company will perform at local area events, retirement homes, Disney World, and the recital in June. The team will also participate in a local dance convention (A weekend dance intensive instructed by famous, world known choreographers).
