Capacity
Fire Rating Maximum capacity within Diebold Hall is 250 people.
Individual events required differing amounts of space. Tables and chairs usage reduces this number considerably. We have found the following numbers are good guidelines.
Events without a formal meal
You may not need a chair for every person.
Less chairs creates an atmosphere where the guest mingle more.
The facility will accomdate 250 people in such a situation.
Events with dancing or a formal meal
Space must be allocated for the dj or band and a dance floor.
Use the dance floor for serving tables then move them when the dancing begins.
Plan on a capacity of 175-200 people for such an event.
Use the Outside
On a nice day - use the outside area for overflow.
Our bucolic grounds and patio are very relaxing.
Tent rentals are another choice.
