Company Description
Ibex is Kansas City’s premier indoor climbing facility offer over 6900 square feet of overhanging, vertical, and slab terrain that will challenge the beginner to most advanced climber.
Classes
The Belay Safety Class is a requirement for anyone wanting to climb at Ibex. This class is designed to inform participants of the risks associated with climbing along with the gear and proper techniques used to climb safely. Each participant will be shown and required to demonstrate how to put on a harness, tie-in with a figure eight retrace knot, and how to belay properly. Participants must be 13 years of age to take the class.
Cost: The Belay Safety Class is $25 per person and includes gear, climbing and instruction. If climber is under the age of 18, they must have a signed Ibex Waiver form on file before they will be permitted to climb. All participants must arrive at Ibex at least 15 minutes prior to start of class.
