So Cal’s best Halloween-themed fitness charity event returns to UCLA this fall. Marking its 20th anniversary, the L.A. Cancer Challenge LACC) has grown to be one of the largest charity races in Southern California raising money and awareness for pancreatic cancer research. The LACC will host a Fit Family Expo with more than 50 outdoor exhibitor booths, activity tents, a stage with a huge video screen, a Kids Zone, an adult costume contest, kids costume parade, celebrities and more creating a fun-filled day for all. Registration includes a chip-timed event, T-shirt, bib, finishers medal and a runner's gift bag. At the heart of the LACC is our goal to unite generations - young and old - through physical fitness in creating public awareness and raising much-needed funds for pancreatic cancer research. To date, the LACC has raised more than $7 million for pancreatic cancer research. The LACC is free and open to the public. Registration starts at $45 5K, 10K, 15K) and $15 Kids Can Cure Fun Run ages 2-7) until September 30. New registration fees will apply starting October 1.
