Smoky Mountain Llama Treks Presents Kuzco
Friday, November 13, 2015
Cosby, Tennessee – Smoky Mountain Llama Treks is proud to announce several recent additions to their llama herd. In April 2015, Baby Kuzco was born to Smoky Mountain Llama Treks’ stud Black Jack and Foxfire Mountain’s female llama, Miracle. Hikers on the Creek Hollow trek are now able to see and pet the baby llama. Black Jack has another cria—baby llama—due in the spring of 2016. Also joining the Smoky Mountain Llama Treks family this past summer are recent retirees from the Mt. LeConte pack llama team, Curly and Oscar. “These are two of the nicest llamas I’ve ever met,” said Steve Garrett, Smoky Mountain Llama Treks’ owner and guide. “They’re both a little quirky, and I think that our hikers will really enjoy them.” In addition to the new llamas, Steve has also added two new trails since he and wife Johnna purchased the hiking company in 2012. “I did most of the work over the last two winters, clearing away the brush and putting in steps where it gets really steep. The views are really nice, and now they’re our most popular trails.” The Padgett Mill trails, both short and extended, begin at the Smoky Mountain Llama Treks home-base and include a llama farm visit. Smoky Mountains Llama Treks is located at 640 Padgett Mill Road in Cosby, Tennessee. Treks are available year round, and reservations can be made online at http://smokymountainllamatreks.com.Click here to visit the profile of Smoky Mountain Llama Treks >>
